Data for Experiments on pool formation in bedrock canyons
Description: | The data is used in the paper "Experiments on pool formation in bedrock canyons". It includes three folders: Raw Data; Shear stress calculations; Processed data. The data was obtained in flume lab by Zhihao Cao, where we conducted an experiment to answer the question: Can scour pools be initiated and formed by a lateral constriction in bedrock canyons? This project incorporates five experimental runs, where we measure the erosion rate, flow and sediment transport. |
